Product Principle
Voyonder helps people plan trips. We are a planning tool, not a travel agency, not a booking platform, and not a guarantor. Our terms should be clear about what we do and what we don't do. Users should understand their responsibilities, our limitations, and what happens when things go wrong.
Terms of Service
Last updated: August 13, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Voyonder ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Voyonder is operated by Voyonder ("we", "us", "our"). You are the "user" or "you."
2. Description of Service
Voyonder is an AI-assisted travel planning platform. We help you:
- Plan trips with AI-generated itineraries
- Organize travel details for yourself and others (family, friends, clients)
- Share itineraries with travel companions
- Manage trip logistics including accommodations, activities, and transportation preferences
What Voyonder is NOT:
- Not a travel agency: We do not book flights, hotels, or activities. We do not hold your money in trust. We do not issue tickets or vouchers.
- Not a travel insurer: We do not provide travel insurance. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance from a licensed provider.
- Not a guarantor: We do not guarantee availability, pricing, or quality of any travel service. Information provided is based on available data at the time of planning and may change.
- Not a visa or documentation service: We do not provide visa advice, passport services, or entry requirement verification. You are responsible for ensuring you have proper documentation for your destination.
3. User Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Voyonder.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete account information.
- You may not share your account credentials with others, except that you may share itineraries through Voyonder's built-in sharing features.
- Voyonder may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Voyonder offers both free and paid subscription tiers:
- Free tier: Limited trips and features. Subject to change.
- Paid tiers (Explorer, Adventurer, Elite): Billed monthly or annually through Stripe, our payment processor.
- Founding Member pricing: Special promotional pricing offered during our launch period. Subject to the terms of the specific Founding Member offer.
Billing terms:
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds.
- Price changes are communicated at least 30 days in advance.
- Failed payments may result in service downgrade to the free tier.
Refund policy:
- We offer a 7-day refund window for new paid subscriptions. Contact support@voyonder.com.
- Refunds are not available for partial months or unused time after cancellation.
5. User Content and Data
Your content:
- Trip plans, itineraries, chat messages, and other content you create on Voyonder ("User Content") belongs to you.
- By using Voyonder, you grant us a limited license to process, display, and modify your User Content solely to provide the Service (generating itineraries, sharing with designated recipients, improving trip recommendations).
Sharing and family planning:
- Voyonder allows you to plan trips for family members and clients. You represent that you have permission to share travel information about other individuals whose details you enter into the Service.
- When you share an itinerary, the recipient can view the trip details you choose to share. Shared itineraries accessed via a public link may be indexed by search engines — use sharing controls carefully.
Prohibited content:
- You may not use Voyonder to plan or facilitate illegal activities.
- You may not upload content that infringes others' intellectual property rights.
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
6. AI-Generated Content
Voyonder uses AI language models (LLMs) to generate travel recommendations, itineraries, and suggestions:
- AI-generated content is for planning purposes only. It may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or recommendations that are not suitable for your specific circumstances.
- You are responsible for verifying all AI-generated information before relying on it. This includes checking:
- Business hours and availability of venues and attractions
- Pricing and currency conversion
- Travel advisories and safety information
- Visa and entry requirements
- Transportation schedules
- Voyonder does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Voyonder for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Voyonder's systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
- Resell or redistribute Voyonder's services without authorization
- Use Voyonder to plan travel in violation of international sanctions or export controls
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the AI model or underlying technology
8. Intellectual Property
- Voyonder's IP: The Voyonder platform, including its software, design, branding, and AI planning engine, is owned by Voyonder and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
- Your IP: You retain ownership of your User Content. We do not claim ownership of your trip plans, itineraries, or data.
- Feedback: If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Voyonder, we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Third-Party Services
Voyonder may link to or integrate with third-party services (booking sites, map providers, review platforms):
- We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or websites.
- Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and the third party.
- Third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. Review them before use.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy of travel information
- Availability of the Service
- Non-infringement
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
Travel involves inherent risks. Voyonder is a planning tool — not a substitute for your own judgment, professional travel advice, or official government travel guidance.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Voyonder's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.
- Voyonder is NOT liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
- Voyonder is NOT liable for damages arising from:
- Travel disruptions, cancellations, or delays
- Inaccurate AI-generated information
- Third-party service failures
- Actions taken based on Voyonder recommendations
- Loss or theft during travel
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability) and even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Voyonder (and its officers, employees, and agents) harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of others' rights
- Travel taken based on Voyonder plans
13. Termination
- You may stop using Voyonder at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
- Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends. We will delete your data per our Zero Data Retention policy (see Privacy Policy).
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification) will survive.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Voyonder is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute resolution:
- Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@voyonder.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
- If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis. Class actions and class arbitrations are waived.
- Exceptions: Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations or unauthorized use of the Service.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time:
- Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days in advance.
- Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
- If you disagree with the updated Terms, your remedy is to stop using the Service and cancel your account.
16. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and Voyonder.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
